Cranks but wont start

I changed harmonic balancer, gaged sensor and now it cranks but wont start, how do I fix it? 1987 olds royale 88 3.8 Its getting spark, gas just wont crank all the way over. Also checked fuses under dash all good.

Is the fuel pressure within spec? Also, are you getting a good hot blue snapping spark?

I believe fuel pressure is fine, my brother checked spark and said it was okay. I was in car while he checked spark.

Ask to make sure. I just worked on a cavalier today and was told the fuel pump was fine. They could hear it run. It was to produce between 50 to 60 psi. It ran but produced 3 psi. Make sure the spark was blue and see if it will start with starting fluid.

Ive heard about the starting fluid but where would I spray it, no carb fuel injected. If balancer is not set right could that be the problem? Also, before I change it car would only start and stay running in neutral and would pop, might it be off time and how to fix that?

Remove the air duct from the intake. Then spray it in the intake. Does it try to start?

If it starts with starting fluid, then you have a fuel related issue.
