Car idles very high when in park. The idle will keep climbing until the car is shutoff or in gear. Also when the car sits for about 4 hrs its hard to start. When it starts it idles low to were you can full it strong in the steering wheel.

When you dont apply gas, the car can climb a small hill by its self.

I assume it is carb? If it is, check the choke system. It may be malfunctioning as far as operation and idle control.

I think its the carb too. When the car get hot and you rev the engine hard it go back to normal idle. Should use carb cleaner?

Something is sticking and it could be external linkages, choke or even the secondary throttle plate sticking open. Carb cleaner might not help if it is external.
