I have a 1985 chevy k10 pickup with a 305. My temperature gauge doesnt work. I need to know where the wire is up under the dash that goes to the temperature gauge on the dash to the temperature sender on the block.

Removing the instrument cluster may be the easiest way to find it, Dark green wire, then backtrack from temp gage. The sending unit on the engine provides resistance to ground. If you take connector loose, touch wire to ground, key on, the gage should start moving. If it works, something wrong with sending unit.

Wiring info below, holler if you have any questions.
