When iM driving it slams back and forth

When im driving down the road it will just start loosing and grabbing power like its not getting gas and then it does all the sudden so ill slow down and it will stop only does it when its cold and in third gear I changed the only fuel filter I could find and it was in the carb if theres one somewhere else let me know please or if its something else please let me know?
