I have a 1992 jeep wrangler with a 1985 chevy 4.3 liter v6 carberated engine in it. My buddy was helping me change the spark plugs and wires and he pulled out the wires without numbering them. How do I find the firing order for the vehicle and the number one position on the distributor cap. My distributor has no numbers and has an accel coil on it. What I hear when I start the engine is the engine will crank but it won't start. The spark plugs have no spark as well. Thats why I figure it is the firing order.

The 1985 4.3L engines used a H.E.I. Distributor, built in coil on top, unless replaced with an aftermarket unit. The diagram should get you there, although on these units the plug wires only distribute the spark to the cylinders. No sparks whatsoever is a new problem. Let me know if you need further help.
