Yes hi and thanx- I had a question -I have a 1983 Chevy s15 and I picked up A fuel pump for a 1984 Chevys10 (which ever year they modified it) my original pump has 2 stems off the fuel pump going in the same direction and the pump I picked up is going in opposite directions - my problem is I connected it up turned the truck on and it wont turn over --my question- do you have a diagram of which direction the flow of the fuel and which hose it comes out of? If you can help that would be great -if not do you have a link that maybe could

Pull one of the hoses off, then turn on the ignition switch. The pump should run for about one second. If you see a puddle, that's the hose it comes out from. If you don't see anything, try the other one.

If you don't get fuel from either port, the pump isn't running. Be sure the tank has a good ground. If it's rusty you may need to add a ground wire from the lip of the tank to the body or frame.
