I have replaced the coil and the module. I have put a new coild wire on and am in the proccess of changing the distributer. I have no idea where to look next I have good fire to coil and good ground and have replaced the coil twice thinking I might have got a bad one from the parts house.

WHAT ENGINE YOU GOT?

IF YOURS IS LIKE A JEEP CJ, THE PIC I HAVE IS HOW TO TEST THE DISTRIBUTOR

KEEP IN MIND, YOU COULD HAVE A BAD "NEW MODULE" I HAVE SEEN IT SEVERAL TIMES WITH CJs, THEY ARE TESTABLE AT THE PARTS STORE, I RECOMMEND 5 TO 8 CONSECUTIVE TESTS TO WARM THEM UP, IF THE LAST FEW FAIL. IT'S BAD!---SAME GOES FOR A NEW ONE BEFORE YOU WALK OUT THE DOOR WITH IT

ALTHOUGH I AM A JEEP CJ KINDA GUY--CJs USE A FORD IGN SYSTEM, I HAVE MORE DIAGRAMS PROBABLY SIMILAR TO YOUR RIG, THAT MAY HELP

IS YOUR MODULE "BLUE" WHERE THE WIRES COME OUT OF IT?

YOUR TURN
