I. Have installed a new engine, raidiator, starter, coil, dizzy, alternator, battery, fuelfilter and
Carb. I'm not an expert for setting timing but got close, the
Timing is running on 10 deg btdc, I'm struggeling to set the air fuel mixture, if turned the fuel screw out five turns. But at the back of The exhaust it Just smells like petrol, the problem is that I get more or less 8 to 9 kl per litre and when it is cold and in the morning it drives asif the engine has a lot of labour. Please help

I would set the timing at 12 degrees.
You have turned the idle adjust screw out too much.

Warm engine to operating temperature.
Turn idle adjust screw in until you feel the engine rpm is dropping. Back the screw outwards until you feel the engine rpm wavers again. Somewhere in between is the best air fuel ratio when engine rpm is highest. A tachometer would help
turn screw back in again and when engine rpm drops, back off 1/2 a turn.
