Vapor Lock

1977 Chevy Scottsdale C-10 PU has Vapor Lock when engine at normal temp. Occurs while climbing incline of any degree or excellerating. I have dual Tanks and it helps to switch tanks. But not always. I looked on your site but my year and model was not listed. Last night it died and took 30 minutes to restart just after ******* up.

Couple of things to check, make sure you have the right gas cap, you might have anewere one with no vent and it needs it. See if your vent lines going up neck aren't blocked or kinked. Make sure fuel lines are ok going to fuel pump. There is a rubber line going from main line to pump an dthat amay be soft and sucking together.
