My DRL bulbs were burnt out so I replaced them, only to find just one working (driver side). I tested both bulbs in the working light socket and they both are working, so I believe the issue is with the passenger side DRL socket. Just wondering the best way to troubleshoot the issue, whether it’s the actual socket or downstream wires. How do I go about replacing the socket if that is the issue? Thanks in advance

Hi,

This is actually easy to check. What you will need is a test light which is inexpensive and you can get at any parts store. Simply check for power to the light socket.

Before we check the socket, check fuse number 43 in the under hood fuse box. See pic 1. If it is good, then check to see if there is power at the light socket. Pic 2 shows the wiring to it.

Here are two links that you may find helpful. Note that when you check the fuse, if it checks good, make sure there is power to it.

Let me know what you find or if you have questions.

Take care,
Joe
