Will not stay running

I start my car and it stalls right away. If I give it gas as I start it then it does not stall. It drives just fine as long as I am pressing the pedal down but as soon as I let off the pedal the car stalls.

Sounds like the idle air control valve has failed. Basically this is what is used to control the idle when you don't have your foot on the accelerator. If it is stuck closed then the engine will just shut off as it has no air. Here is a guide that will help with cleaning this if you would like to try that:

Below is the process on replacing this. I would replace it as they are not too expensive and I am pretty sure this is your issue.
