03 CTS starting problems

I have a 03 cts and sometimes it dosent start it dosent get paulse to the injectors I could spray a little starting fluid and then it will start and run fine And the other day I noticed that it would shift hard up and down but when I turned it off and back on it was fine I have no trouble codes

What size engine do you have?

This sounds like it could be a couple different things. It seems to be something related to fuel pressure. Just turn on your ignition to the run position, do not start, and see if you can hear a whine. This would be your fuel pump coming on. It should only be audible for a couple seconds before it shuts off. This is where I would start first.
