Hi,

First, have you checked the ign/ECM fuse along with the injector fuse? See pic 1 below and let me know if you checked them. If you did, make sure there is power to them.

Also, if you haven't already, check to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes stored. This has an OBD1 system which doesn't require a scan tool to retrieve codes. Here is a link that shows how it's done. All you will need is a short jumper wire or even a paper clip.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Is there power to the fuses I suggested checking?

If you have, then I need you to check for power at the gray wire on the pump. Note there is an inline fuse that could be blown. See attached pic. Also, confirm there is power to the orange wire at the fuel pump relay.

I also want to note that if there is no oil pressure being indicated, it will shut down the pump, so check to make the oil pressure sender is connected.

Next, confirm power to the pink wire on the positive side of the coil. It comes from the ignition switch. Check that when cranking. If it is lower than 10.5v, see if the battery is weak. (pic 2)

One last thing, I have seen the distributor gear at the bottom of the distributor break. Confirm the rotor is turning when cranking the engine.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
