my 2000 Jetta takes a long time to change gears say i push the gas it goes but it takes a long time to change so when that happens i slow down and let it catch up i dont know what it is tho you guys might know what is wrong ???

Hi there,

This sounds like a pressure or valving problem with in the transmission, you should go get a trans test done by a qualified trans tech as they will have all the specialist equipment to preform this test.
