Vehicle has been sitting for a few months and when I plug in my jump starter. I wait 10-15 minutes I turn it on and it will shut off as soon as I rev the engine to to maintain rpm? I would assume the battery is shot and a new one should do the trick correct?

I have to reset the jump starter after each start and everything is dead in terms of the dash.

Never had issues before letting it sit.

Hello,

It could be the fuel pump relay there is a recall from Honda that needs to be completed. If it has not been performed. I attached the recall letter below so you can call your local Honda dealer to set a time to have it done to eliminate the fuel pump relay.

It could also be the battery is not taking a charge and the system voltage is to low and it shuts down the ignition and fuel pump. Charge the battery and perform a battery load test to determine if the battery is at faulty and needs replaced. Check the battery charge rate to determine if the alternator is faulty and needs replaced. I'm attaching repair guides below for you to refer to.
