When I am on “D” it drives for one to two blocks then it starts slipping. I have to shut the van off and then turn it back on and it will drive for about another one to two blocks then starts slipping again. Second also starts to slip after one to two blocks. And L drives to with less slipping. Reverse does not engage. Car was running fine with no hints that anything wrong was going to happen. For some reasons I thought one of my CV boot axles had gone bad. Can this be an issue with TCM? I can post a video tomorrow.

Is the check engine light on? The first thing I would do is to change the oil/filter in the transmission. If the filter is partially clogged, it will cause this issue. The fact it has no reverse tells me that this is a mechanical issue internally and not a electronic control issue.
