Do I need to replace transmission on my car? I was driving it then it started to stop and going on safe-mod, then it did not want to stay in gear.I put it drive an it goes back to park.

With that low mileage I would say the transmission has a sensor that has gone out, please run the codes to see if any come up, here is a guide to help you get the job gone.
