96 Corolla just clicks

Battery checks good, posts are clean and tight but when starting the starter only clicks. There is 120k on the engine, auto trans.

It is possible that even if the battery measures 11.5 to 12V it is still bad. Try jump starting the car. If it still clicks, it could be the connections at the starter or it is possible that the starter has a "dead spot" or bad brushes.
