I HAD THE BATTERY AND THE ALTERNATOR CHECKED AND THEY WERE GOOD AND HOT, BUT MY STARTER STILL CLICKS SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE FINALLY STARTING ABOUT EVERY 10TH TIME I TRY TO START UP. THE AUTO PARTS GUY DID SAY THE STARTER PULLED THE VOLTAGE DOWN TO 10 WHILE STARTING. IT NEVER DID CLICK WHILE HE WAS CHECKING.

very common for this starter. you definately need a new starter motor. there is a copper disc in starter solenoid that gets arc marks on it, eventually it wont make a good enough connection. hope this helps
