Brakes problem
2009 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I just changed the rotors and front pads. It now makes a clicking when the car is placed into reverse. It does not make a noise when going to neutral or drive. The click only happens when placed in reverse. Do you know what could be causing this? This was not a problem before I made the rotor and pad changes.
Thank you

The pads may be loose in the housing, make sure that you did not loose one of the anti rattle clips, you can also purchase heat resistant adhesive to bond the pad to the piston and the other to the caliper to stop and movement if clips are worn.

I would also be concerned why you needed rotors and pads on an 09.

How many miles?

38,000 miles. I thought the rotors should have lasted longer also.
I will try the suggestions next weekend. I won't be able to get to it this weekend.
Thanks for the help. I'll keep you posted on what I find.
