2000 Toyota Corolla 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My son hooked up the battery wrong and fried the battery. Blew a hole out the top. I went and installed a new one and the car starts, but will not go into gear nor does he have any lights. I check the fues and they all seem fine. HELP.

You will have to check all fuses, relays and fuseable links in the fuse box in engine compartment, as well as fuses in interior fuse box.

It is also possible that some wiring was burnt.
