Engine stalls after new battery?

This could be a couple things but we need to start with making sure the battery that you have is not faulty. Here is a guide that will help with this:

Lastly we need to check the idle air control valve as they can get stuck closed and it basically cuts the air off when the engine is idling. Here is a guide that will help clean this which should solve it if that is the issue:
