I received my 1996 Toyota Camry with the check engine light on, and was told that the EGR Valve needs to be replaced. I am also experiencing problems starting the car. The RPM's will not be consistent (or even strong at 1) when I first start the car, unless I press on the gas and force the RPM's up to 1. Sometimes when the engine is warm, the car will try to start and stall, RPM's falling down to 0.

Is this related to the EGR valve? The temperature of the engine does not necessarily always matter.

SOMEONE HELP! :(
