1992 Saturn SL2 transmission problem

1992 saturn sl2 wouldnt start at all.I changed the plugs and wires. It drove rough for one day and died, had to get it towed home. Now itll start and at first, when I would put it in gear it would stall. But now itll start and stay running, albeit rough, but it wont go in forward or reverse. Transmission. Unsure if it is a two wheel drive or all wheel drive. Thank you

Is the transmission fluid full?What color is the fluid?Do u have a volt meter to check the voltage at the battery while its running?If u do please check it and let me know what it reads.

THE TRANNY FLUID IS AT GOOD LEVEL AND ITIS PINK/LIGHT RED

Did u ever check ur voltage at the battery while it was running?I wanted to make sure ur alternator was good ur transmission is control electricially and I have seen bad alternators effect the transmission. Let me know.
