I am young and this is my first car I have owned it for almost 3 years and have been learning and doing repairs as they are needed. When I first bought the car within a month of driving I noticed oil leaking into the first spark plug cylinder, I cleaned it out and replaced the spark plug and was fine until winter when the car wouldn't start. Come spring when I could work on it I ended up replacing the timing belt and tensioner had no problems until winter again when the car would not start. This past spring I replaced the muffler system, got tired of cleaning out the oil in the spark plug cyclinder and replaced the valve cover seal (I belive is what its called) the problems seemed to have all gone away until this past week when my service engine light came on. When I got home I noticed the entire first spark plug cyclinder was full of oil, I cleaned it out and replaced the spark plug started the car went out and the light came back on, I got home parked the car for the night and since have not been able to start it. It seems to be trying to turn over but wont, I did a reading on the battery and its not great but not dead. What could be the problem? I love the car and would hate to have to sell it but if the problem is going to cost more then the car is worth now I might as well. :(

Alright here's what I want you to do take two spark plug wire's off the coil pack that are right next to each other. Have someone crank the engine over while you watch for spark jumping from post to post. Let me know what you find.
