After starting out going five or six miles the rear end starts making a noise and starts vibrating then gets worse like thumping. If I stop at a stop sign and start up again it goes away, but comes back. I replaced the rear driveshaft with a new one.

You will have to check that you do not have a tire out of round, a buckled rim, all rear suspension components are tight and the replaced drive shaft is installed correctly. I would be leaning towards a tire as sometimes as they heat up they can deform and cause a thumping noise.

Check for worn rear suspension components and check rear tail shaft and differential support bushes, if all looks good get a four wheel alignment.
