I needed my rear brakes repaired. Before they told me just the brakes no rotors but today when I was driving the right back tires locked down. I wanted to know do I now need new rotors too?

Hi,

The brakes locking up is not the rotor's fault. You may need a rotor now because the brakes locking up may have warped the rotor. However, the brakes locking up is caused by a seized caliper or other failure with the application of the brakes. If you just had them serviced, I would take it back ASAP because they need to inspect them to find out what happened. Feel free to let me know what they say and I will be happy to let you know if that makes sense. Especially if they attempt to charge you as I suspect they will find it may have been related to what they did.

Let me know and we can go from there. Thanks
