Hi,

Had to replace a stud on my left front wheel, and now I notice a noise when I apply the brakes at low speeds. The noise is repetitive and sounds like two pieces of rubber are touching eachother. No noise at high speeds.

Let me know what you think.

PS No ABS on this car

Thanks.

Check you ball joints. Also double check what you removed when you changed the stud.

You could have overtorqued the wheel causing the rotor to warp and make noise.

Thanks for the quick reply.

Changed the cv axels couple of months ago. As far as double checking the work on the stud. Well AAMCO did that.

Id take it baack to AAMCO and tell them the problem you are having came back after they performed maintenence on your vehicle, you should be able to get the work done for free or atleast labor for free or reduced price to fix it if its their fault.
