Problems accelerating

I have had problems with accelerating at higher speeds and sometimes lower speeds. It seems to jerk when slightly pushing on the gas pedal, but no check engine lights. What do I even try to look at first?

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge first auto parts rent gauge and can scan for codes.
