1991 Porsche 944 broken fuel gauge
Electrical problem
1991 Porsche 944 S2 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 48000 miles
Sirs, My 1991 944 S2 fuel gauge is not working it was working fine until mechanic replaced an A/C relay and it quit (coinciendence) is there a relay for fuel gauge? He swapped around relays trying to find the right A/C relay? The yellow low fuel light comes on but fuel needle is not working . Also want to tell you that the mechanic on another problem took the fuel sending unit out of the gas tank in the trunk compartment trying to syfon gas. it seems the wires are not loose but dont know. Also I checked the fuse in the box under the hood and it shows good is there another fuse box with a possible blown fuse?Can you help me? Craig

Hi Craig,
Seems the guy who removed the sending unit caused the problem. The sending unit had been installed incorrectly resulting in the gauge not getting any signal.
