I opened my door this morning and when I tried to shut it, it wouldnt shut. The latch is closed shut so it will not shut. It has done this before and I got it open with s screwdriver, but this time it will not work, I sprayed it down with WD-40 and still nothing. It was raining yesterday and then it turned cold overnight so Im guessing its frozen but I tried to free it for about 45 mins and nothing happend. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I would try spraying it down with either graphite powder, or white lithium grease. My assumption would be that if you spent that much time trying to free it, it isn't just frozen. So maybe the grease has just dried up and needs to be regreased. You should be able to pick either of these items up at your local auto parts store. Good luck and I hope this helps.
