1998 Pontiac Sunfire Repair Question

How do you remove the moulding at the body line between the convertible top and lower body.
On this vehicle with convertible the top is attached via or underneath moulding strips. I am attempting to replace top but I am not familiar as to how to remove moulding strips. Please help.

they may be screwed in from the back side or riveted. you may have to take the rear seats out and the side panels to get to them.

Carefully pull foam to one side and look for the screws. There should be 2 on each. If you pull out the interior / headliner you can see them from the back side. I hope this helps.
