My car died in the middle of the afternoon yesterday and was towed to the local mechanic shop (about 5 miles). The shop is saying it's the fuel pump, and for the replacement/labor/tow it's going to be around $750. I have no choice but to repair it, but that sounds really high. Is that about right for the cost or no?

Estimate is below for replacing your vehicle's fuel pump. This includes the part and labor only. I am unsure what you were charged for the towing.
