My car is making a noise that started out sounding like a tire noise (plop, plop). It sounds like it is coming from the front somewhere. I had the tires re-balanced, that wasn't the problem. Now it is getting louder. What could it be, possibly a bearing, or shocks, struts? It only makes the noise going forward. The car drives fine other than the noise. The faster you go the louder it gets. Helpl!

Could be a bearing. Even though they were balanced, did you try rotating the tires to see if the noise follows to the rear?Sometimes they will begin to seperate and they will still balance but will make noise
