1996 Oldsmobile Bravada Very rough idle/loud clanking noise

I replaced my gas tank(leaking because of corrosion?) And repaired my A/C about 3 weeks ago. When I got the car from the mechanic everything seemed ok. One week later my car overheated due to a leak. The water pump and radiator were replaced. The car is no longer overheating, but now while the car is in idle it shakes like crazy and makes a loud clanking noise and sometimes cuts off. The spark plugs were replaced but it still shakes. Did the original repair of the gas tank and A/C trigger the overheating problem? Is it purely coincidental?

Any suggestions on fixing rough idle prob? Spark plugs were already replaced.

Loud clanking noise bothers me. Could be internal engine failure. You really need to have it looked at again. Not much I can do without hearing it. Sorry
