Has the check engine light come on? Has the hard start only happened since the system was repaired?

What I recommend is this. Take the vehicle back to where you had the part removed and explaine what it is doing. Something tells me they botched the wiring up when they did the job which inturn is causing either a weak spark or low fuel pressure. They need to recheck their work.

Let me know what they say or if they give you a hard time.

If it is a power problem to the fuel pump, he needs to recheck his work since it didn't start until he worked on the car.

Are you able to get one from a salvage yard? With that part number (mark of the beast) I don't think I would want to drive the car anymore.

That is a good one. I wouldn't be too worried. You know what it is and you don't like it. I would say you are on the right track.
