Clutch Pedal does not spring back

1995 Sentra 4 door 114k miles. As I came to a stop I pushed the clutch in and it just went straight to the floor and didn't disengage the gears and the car stalled out. I pulled the clutch pedal back up by hand. I pushed the clutch pedal again and it just popped down to the floor board. Like there was no spring action to bring it back up to the normal position.

If the clutch is not disengaging the clutch or popping back, then you have an issue with the slave cylinder or air in the system.

I would suggest inspecting the system for a leak but more than likely the slave is leaking. If it is then instead of replacing just the slave, I would replace the entire system.

Here are some guides that will help with this:

You can find entire clutch kits that are not that expensive, so it makes sense to just go in one time and replace the clutch.

I provided some specific info on how to inspect and replace the clutch.

Please let us know what you find. Thanks
