I have a 1991 Nissan Maxima with 59000 miles, (Yes, these are original miles, I have owned the car for 12 years)(No, it is not for sale)

Lately when it rains heavily, the car refuses to start. I recently had a new alternator and battery installed at the Nissan dealer. The dealer has checked it out and can not find anything wrong. Otherwise, the car runs perfectly.
Any suggestions? :D

When the problem doesn't happen, take a spray bottle of water and moisten the ignition wires completely while it's running. Look for any arcing from them. This sounds like a typical ignition wire failure problem. Replace the cap and rotor also if they aren't reasonably new.
