My front brake pads were replaced about 6 months ago. I started noticing a screeching sound as I braked and turned right soon after. Now I hear the noise randomly as the I am driving. Mostly after the car has parked put the hand brake then taken off again. I have also been told the rotors are warped. Could this be the problem or is it something else? Thank You.

Hello,

It sounds like an issue with the brake pads. It is possible that the anti-rattle clips for the pads got loose and that is the noise you are hearing. It could be just rubbing against the rotor.
Check the brake pads and see if those clips are loose. I have attached diagrams that shows what the clips looks like (see below).

Please note that if your brake rotors were wrapped, you would have felt vibration/pulsation while braking.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
