Hard starting when cold

2005 Mini Cooper S 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
I need to crank engine for 30-60 seconds to start after setting over night. starts and runs perfect during day. It appears to not get enough fuel when cold.
Also, would this be covered under 4 year warrenty?

Hi
Is check engine light on? Maybe a faulty coolant temp sensor located rear of engine below air snorkle.
If sensor out of range it can cause cold start problems. Not sure of Mini warrenty but I would give them a call.
