When I firts start the carb up in the AM the idle goes up and down 300-1000rpm in a pulsing manor, this problem just started. It seems to clear up in a min or two but I think it could get to be more of a problem.
Thanks CJO

A few issues that can cause this condition are as follows:
Clogged fuel filter may cause an uneven idle. Fuel filter can add much needed flow to the fuel system.
Clogged injectors can cause little to no flow of fuel or an uneven fuel mixture
Faulty plugs or wires. Often times this is overlooked for poor idle conditions. But a rough and uneven idle may be due to faulty plugs or wires.
Also a faulty crank position sensor may cause idle rough idle conditions and stalls.
