1993 Mazda Protege CV joint replacement

I channged the both cv joints and after I put every thing back together the transmission only spins and the car will not move. What could I have missed?

Axles not seated into transaxle or you got wrong axles did you compare length with old. AT and MT trans different lengths

Changing drive axles if you take both cv joints out of the automatic transaxle the transaxle side gears will become mislined it takes a special tool to keep the side gears alined.I would recommend taking one cv joint out at a time so the side gears wont become misline or measure your drive axlles to make shure you have the same size because the drverside and the passenger side are different size.
