I have a 2003 Mazda B2300 with a 5 speed transmission. 4 cyl engine. 96,000 miles. I am hearing a noise when I have the clutch pedel push in. I noticed it at a drive thru. It sounds like a chatter, clicky clack noise. I am not sure just how best to describe it. It almost sounds like an engine that is low on oil and the valves are clicking. It goes away when I release the clutch. I hear it starting out in first and second gear as I push the clutch pedal in and release it. So when I push the clutch pedal in, I hear it. When I let the pedal out, it goes away. I checked the fluid level. It looks good.

Its the throw-out bearing in the transmission.
Its wore out. Its cheap to buy. But the bad side
is that you will have to take out the transmission to replace it. And a little advice, go ahead and have a new clutch put in while its out to save money in the long run.
