1993 Lincoln Town Car My Car is consuming Too Much gas

Hi, I have a 1993 Lincol Town car. A full tank used to last for about 520 KM but now it dropped down to about 380 Km and sometimes I run out of gas suddenly. Some people advised me to clean the injectors by adding some liquid to the empty tank and then fill the tank with 95 octan gas and then go drive it on a higway for about 300 KM. But some other people told me that it is dangerous for the injector to add this liquid. Can you please advise me on that because I dont trust any one to change the injectors. If you think that I can use this liquid, do you have any suggestion for me, a specific type or something

Hi: Sorry for the late reply you may have resolved the problem bu now... For what its worth.
Check spark plugs, I in Minnesota, as temps drop fuel usage increases, stations at one time increased volitility of gas for cold temps. I am not a pro mechanic but consider where you buy gas.
I try to purchase gas at BP. And have found this makes a big differents. Many say all gas is the same
(I DO NOT BUY IT) All gas is not the same.
In addition consider doing an engin scan, checking air filters ect.
