Knocking or vibrating when the transmission is shifted into gear

I am sorry for the delay. We need to start with checking the codes. I suspect that will help us figure this out but based on this info the most likely cause of this is a valve body issue but there are a number of other things that could cause this.

This could be a vacuum leak, torque converter issue, and a number of others as well. So it is important that we start with the codes and find out what they are and go from there.
