air bag light want go off

Have the computer scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. Most parts stores will do it for free.

Let me know what you find. Also, if that light is on, the air bag will most likely NOT work.

Chances are there is a sensor that is bad. However, to identify which one may require better equipment that what they had at the store. I hate to say it, but I feel you should take it to a dealer and just have them check it for codes for the air bag. They have the necessary equipment to do it.

Call around to get prices. Tell them you just want to know if it is a sensor or another problem. It could even be in the steering wheel itself.
