What does it mean when your air bag light stays on and how do I get it to go out?

It means your air bag has been disabled. You will have to get yor car scanned for air bag codes let me know the exact code numbers. That is your starting point.

IT MEANS THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH YOUR AIRBAG SYSTEM. YOU NEED TO GET IT PLUGGED INTO TO GET THE CODES AND POST THEM HERE. THESE CARS HAVE A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE PAD SENSOR, IT'S A SENSOR ON THE PSSENGER SIDE SEAT CUSHION AND DETECTS BODY WEIGHT. LET US KNOW.

Thank you, my car fail inspection because of the airbag light being on and the dealership wants to charge me a whole lot of money to get it fix shopping around to find a cheaper place to scan and fix the problem.
