ok here is the thing the check engine light comes on certain days and certain days it is off, I have noticed on hot days it will stall and sometimes not turn over, its like it wants to turn over and then it doesn't if I wait 10-15 min then it might start, when I drive as soon as I let go of the gas peddle it jerks back as if I slammed on the breaks.

You need to get the computer scanned for code/s and comeback with it.
