I have a sound under the driver's side of the dash. It sounds like a vacuum sucking. When I press the brake pedal in lightly, it adjusts the sound. When I press the brake pedal all the way in, the sound completely stops. When I release the brake pedal, it starts the sound again. If I am pressing the gas pedal in giving a good bit of gas, the sound will stop then as well. They say I need a new brake booster.

Good morning,

The noise is a vacuum leak. There is a bladder in the booster that rips and allows the vacuum to leak. The booster works for a short period but must be replaced to correct.

I attached the procedure below for you. You will need to move some things out of the way to remove the booster. You will need to bleed the system when you are done since you have to remove some lines for the repair.
