2000 Jeep Cherokee steering wheel not turning

2000 Jeep Cherokee V8 Four Wheel Drive 114 miles

i was driving my car home when I noticed that it became harder for me to turn the steering wheel. The next day, I noticed that it would not even turn. So, I went and bought steering fluid which was low and filled it. It turned for a light while but became hard to do so later. I also notice some leak, but i'm not sure where it's coming from. What is wrong with it and what do I need to do?

First we need to determine where the leak is coming from. Also, was the power steering pump making a lot of noise when this happened?

Try to clean off the areas that are covered in PS fluid so you can determine where the leak is coming from.
